Irene Barrios was born in Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real. At the age of 7 she begins her studies of transverse flute and dance at the municipal conservatory of her native city.
Later she starts her professional studies of singing at the Marcos Redondo Conservatory in Ciudad Real and continues her superior studies in lyric singing at the ESMUC in Barcelona and later in Berlin.
She has been trained in musical theater with teachers such as Jaume Giró, Lluís Frigola and Julia Möller. And in interpretation with Victoria di Pace and Thais Curiá.
Since she was young she has participated in numerous musical productions as well as collaborations with different choirs and musical groups. Among her most recent works is the musical Romeo and Juliet, an eternal love, where she played the role of Rosalía; the tour of The Doctor, the Musical as Agnes and Cover of Mary and The Grand Night of Music.
She joins the cast of The Neverending Story, the musical at the Calderón theater in Madrid as Uyulala and continues in its Barcelona season as Cover of Childlike Empress and Xayide.
