Javier Ibarz was born in Zaidín (Huesca). He has participated in more than fifty dramatic productions. Since Les Miserables (1992), he has been part of the cast of The Man of La Mancha; Amadeus; My Fair Lady; La Maja de Goya; Zorbas; The Hunchback of Notre Dame; Little Red Riding Hood, the musical; Christmas Story; Pinocchio, the great musical; ¿El Greco, decís?, Frankenstein or Pretty Woman, among many other titles both musical and textual.
In zarzuela, The Impossible Love, Love Conquers All and the War of the Giants; Zarzuela, the Spanish Musical; The Guest of the Sevillian; The Barber of Lavapiés; Luisa Fernanda; The Shirtless; The Year Gone By; The Revoltosa; The Great Avenue; Water, Sugar and Aguardiente.... In opera, La Bohème, Dulcinea or Segismundo, he has been consecrated as a versatile and efficient performer.
He has also appeared on TV in Centro Médico; Amar es para Siempre; 45 Revolutions; The Wall; Heridas or Cuéntame.
A multifaceted artist, he has also worked as a screenwriter, director, composer, poet, lyricist and adapter. He is a graduate and Master in Art History. In 2015, he published his first novel, La biblioteca de Ismara, and in 2023, its second part: El juego de la serpiente, with the publisher Librooks (Barcelona).
