Rodrigo Blanco, born in Seville in 1993, is a multi-talented artist specialising in musical theatre. He began his musical and vocal training at the Lydian Road Estudios school and continued his training in musical theatre at institutions such as the Liceo de la Música de Moguer, the Callejón de las Artes and other specialist schools. He has also furthered his training through masterclasses given by professionals such as Mike Ashcroft and Virginia Carmona, amongst others.
Professionally, he starred in the second season of *The Pillars of the Earth*, the musical. He has also played Ramiro and Ignacio in *El tiempo entre costuras*, the musical, and starred in *Germinal*, the musical, a role for which he received a nomination for Best Leading Actor. He also played Romeo at the Castillo de Niebla Theatre and Dance Festival and has appeared in plays such as Shakespeare’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream* and *Platero*.
On television, he has appeared on programmes such as *Operación Triunfo* and *Cover Night*.
