Joan is currently studying Contemporary Dance and is in the fourth year of ESO at the IEA Oriol Martorell, Barcelona’s Art School, a dual-stream school that combines general education with artistic studies in music and dance. Up until the third year of ESO, at the same school, her specialism was Classical Dance. She has also trained in this discipline with Carmen Roche and Jean Mille, as well as at the Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham.
She has undertaken training in musical theatre — singing and vocal technique, jazz and performance — at the Eòlia Higher Centre for Dramatic Arts and at Aules Arts Escèniques. She has taken part in workshops on Broadway jazz, modern and lyrical dance led by Eric Campros, Fletcher Dobinson, Dídac Flores, Diana Girbau, Matt Krzan, Enric Marimon, Miguel Mateos, Adriana de Robles and Joan Salas.
She began her piano studies at MusicActiva and is currently a pupil of Adrià Molero.
The Neverending Story, the musical, marks her professional debut.
