Alex Parra, originally from El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), is trained in acting, singing and the clarinet, and holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication.
He has appeared in Godspell, directed by Antonio Banderas; in Aladdin, playing Omar and as the understudy for Aladdin, a role for which he received the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Supporting Actor; in The Lion King, playing Zazu, Timon, Ed and Banzai; as well as in El tiempo entre costuras and The Phantom of the Opera.
He has also worked with the National Classical Theatre Company in Otro gran teatro del mundo and with the Teatro de la Zarzuela in La Gran Vía, Benamor and Master CheZ.
Furthermore, he has taken part in classical and Greco-Roman theatre festivals such as the Mérida International Classical Theatre Festival and the Almagro Festival, in productions including The Cyclops, Antigone, Mostellaria and The Legends of Bécquer.
