Virginia Muñoz

Virginia Muñoz studied Hispanic Philology and Dramatic Arts in Málaga and has worked in theater, film, and television since 2000.

On television, she has appeared in series such as *La chica de nieve* (The Snow Girl) for Netflix; *SOS Estudiantes*; *Arrayán* for Canal Sur; *Palomitas* by El Terrat for Telecinco; *Centro médico* for TVE; and *Alta Mar* by Bambú.

In film, she has appeared in *Ellas*, *La historia de la princesa y la guerrera* (The Story of the Princess and the Warrior) (actress and director), currently available on Filmin; *321 días en Michigan*; and *La mancha negra*.

In theater, she has performed in productions such as *A la luz de Góngora* (CAT), directed by Kiti Mánver; *El perro del hortelano*; *Mucho ruido y pocas nueces*; *La extraña pareja*; *En veces veo a Umberto* (Seven years in Madrid); *Un secreto a voces*; and *Una hermana para tres hermanos*, directed by Álvaro Carrero. Among her works are Misericordia, by Denise Despeiroux, and the recent production of Cleopatra for the 2025 Mérida Theatre Festival, directed by Ignasi Vidal. In 2024, she premiered Asco (La Fuga de PTC), which she co-wrote and directed. She has also been performing stand-up comedy since 2003.

In 2008, she founded the Caramala company with Carmen Baquero and Noemí Ruiz, where she acts and produces. To date, they have created six shows: La hora feliz, Caramelo, Memoria de pez, Barrio de la Paz (a co-production with Javier Ojeda), Superheroínas S.L., and La plaga (directed by Chiqui Carababante).
