Rocío

Rocío holds a degree in Musical Theatre from the SCAENA Higher Centre for Performing Arts in Madrid.

Originally from Toledo, she began her musical training at the age of six at the Jacinto Guerrero Conservatory, specialising in violin. At the same time, she developed a strong foundation in dance, including jazz, tap and contemporary, which would go on to shape her career in the performing arts.

She trained in modern jazz and Latin jazz with Tony Escartín, joining his company for several years, and also worked under the choreographic direction of Cuca Pon. These experiences helped her develop the strong technical foundation that has shaped her professional career.

She has been part of the cast of musicals such as Los pilares de la tierra, el musical, La historia interminable, el musical and El tiempo entre costuras, el musical, among others, taking on roles including dance captain, swing and assistant choreographer.

Highlights of her career also include appearing in La corte del faraón at the Mérida International Classical Theatre Festival and in Franciscus at the Euskalduna Theatre, as well as taking part in a variety of audiovisual projects.

Committed to continuous professional development, she regularly continues her training at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York, as well as Pineapple Dance Studios in London. She also continues her vocal training with María José Santos.

In the summer of 2024, she performed as a solo dancer at the Sphere in Las Vegas as part of an international event organised by beon. Worldwide.

She also holds a degree in Tourism from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her artistic career combines acting, dance and stage creation, and is defined by discipline, versatility and an ongoing commitment to training.
