Miguel Ángel Belotto

Miguel Ángel Belotto (Almansa, Albacete) is an actor, singer and dancer. He trained at the Royal Higher School of Dramatic Art in Madrid and graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.

His most recent credits include El tiempo entre costuras, el musical (swing) and Los pilares de la tierra, el musical. He previously appeared in Aladdín, el musical as a member of the ensemble and cover for Kassim, Omar and the Sultan. He also starred in Singin’ in the Rain at Teatro Apolo in Madrid, directed by Ángel Llàcer and Manu Guix.

He was previously associated with Antonio Banderas’ Teatro del Soho CaixaBank, where he worked as assistant director on the comedy En la pista, directed by Marc Montserrat-Drukker, and as an acting swing in A Chorus Line, directed by Antonio Banderas and Baayork Lee, covering the roles of Mike, Don, Larry, Al and Greg.

His earlier credits include West Side Story at Teatro Calderón in Madrid, where he served as alternate Bernardo and swing; Mayumaná Rumba! at Teatro Rialto in Madrid as an actor-musician; The Little Mermaid at the MacRobert Arts Centre in Stirling; Christ on a Bike at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; Shrek, el musical; and Pinocho, un cuento musical.
