CAST

Leo Rivera is an actor and singer specialising in musical theatre and screen work. Born in Talavera de la Reina, he has developed most of his career in Madrid.

He trained in Musical Theatre at Memory and continued his studies in New York at Black Nexxus Studio with Susan Batson. He also studied singing using the Speech Level Singing technique. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in more than 30 theatre and musical productions.

He has taken part in major productions such as Mamma Mia!, Avenue Q, Hoy no me puedo levantar, School of Rock, 50 sombras! El musical and El cabaret de los hombres perdidos. His credits in straight theatre include Lehman Trilogy, Escape Room, Burundanga, Yo soy Hamlet, El nombre, El crédito and El secuestro.

For Avenue Q, which won the Max Award for Best Musical, he received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Musical Theatre Awards. On television, he has appeared in series such as 7 vidas, Sin tetas no hay paraíso, Wake Up and 4 estrellas. More recently, he took part in the second season of The Assassin for Amazon UK/Prime Video.

His film credits include Volver, directed by Pedro Almodóvar, further establishing a versatile career spanning comedy, drama and musical theatre.
