CAST

Jaume Giró was born in Barcelona and graduated in Acting from the Institut del Teatre. Since then, he has continued to expand his training through studies in various performing arts disciplines.

Throughout his career, he has performed in some of Spain’s most prominent musical theatre productions, including El Médico, El Musical, Cinderella, the Musical, The Lion King, Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago and The Phantom of the Opera. He has also worked under the direction of Antonio Banderas in Tocando nuestra canción, and has appeared in productions such as Romeo and Juliet, Grease, La bella Helena, Penas de amor de una gata francesa, Amadeus, Guys and Dolls, Un musical conflictivo, Platón ha muerto, Hair and Dracula, among others.

His television credits include appearances in series such as Machos Alfa, La Riera, Las voces del Pamano, El cor de la ciutat and Leyendas urbanas.

Alongside his acting career, he also works as a director and teacher. He is the author of El casting de teatro musical: 10 pasos para superarlo con éxito and wrote and directed Game Over, a romantic musical comedy. He has also worked extensively as an assistant director and resident director on productions including Tocando nuestra canción and El Médico, El Musical.

In addition, he works as a trainer and vocal coach, helping numerous performers prepare for professional productions and auditions within the Spanish musical theatre industry.
