Considered by the specialized press as one of the best musicians of his generation and one of the most distinguished contemporary composers of Musical Theatre.
In 2018 he premiered The Doctor in Madrid, based on the novel by Noah Gordon, winning 5 awards of the Musical Theatre and 11 Public Awards BroadwayWorld, converting it into the most awarded musical of the season, and number 1 of the criticism during its two seasons in Madrid. Currently he continues his tour in Spain and has two new productions prepared in the Czech Republic and Germany for October 2022 and spring 2023 respectively.
In 2020 he premiered Who Killed Sherlock Holmes?, being the first musical that returns to the Gran Vía madrileña during the COVID, musical that wins 12 public awards BroadwayWorld, including the "Best Musical" award, and transforming itself again into the most awarded musical of the season.
At the end of 2021 he premiered in national tour The Time Between Stitches, winning 10 public awards Broadwayworld and a great success of criticism.
Next premieres include The Endless History in October 2022 and soon The Pillars of the Earth, based on the book by Ken Follett.
Ivan obtained the title of piano teacher with Honorary Diploma by unanimity and Honorary End of Career Award at the age of 13 years, obtaining subsequently the title of Superior Piano Teacher also with Honorary Diploma by unanimity. Subsequently studies the Master in Composition and Instrumentation of Music for Film and Television at the Berklee Collegue of Music.
Obtains the postgraduate of piano interpretation by the University of Alcalá de Henares, under the direction of the master Josep Colom, his master and together with the professor Ana Guijarro his main piano influences.
He is invited by the great maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy to audition in private in Luzerna (Switzerland), supposing this encounter a turning point in his musical career, in which he is awarded in more than 20 piano interpretation contests, which leads him to be presented by the entire national geography, and representative of the Union Europea in the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai 2010.
He holds the recognition of the Andalusian flag of the arts.
